THE RELIGIOUS FEELING IS A BASIC NEED OF
THE HUMAN SOLD.
FROM,THE PREHUMANITY TILL NOWADAY,THE RELIGION DOMINATES TO THE SCHYCOLOGICAL LIFE OF MAN,THAT EXPRESSES HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH THAT SENIOR BEING,THE TERNARY DIVINITY,THE HIGHEST POWER,IN WHICH HUMAN MIND GIVES BACK,ALL OF WHICH ARE SITUATED IN THE GLOBE OF THE UNKNOWN AND THE IMPOSSIBLE.
THE RELIGION DEMANDS MORAL CONSCIENCE AND PERFORMANCE OF DUTY,CONSTITUTES FOR THE MAN GREAT MOBILE FORCE,THAT INFLUENCES IN THE FORMATION OF A GOOD PERSONALITY,AS MUCH AS IN THE CREATION OF A LIFE,THAT AGREES WITH THE GOD'S ORDERS,THAT ARE FOUND IN THE PASSAGES OF THE HOLY BIBLE AND THE HOLY TRADITION OF THE HOLY FATHERS OF THE CHUTCH.
ALSO,BY THE RELIGION,WE HAVE INFLUENCE,ON THE CIVILIZATION OF EVERY PEOPLE GENERALLY,JUST AS IT HAPPENED WITH THE GREAT BYZANTINE.
THE CHRISTIAN TEACHING ALSO,INFLUENCES THE PERSONALITY AND THE CIVILIZATION OF EACH PERSON SEPARATELY,IN THE SOCIAL WHOLE THAT HE LIVES.IT CREATES THE THE MORAL CUSTOMS,WHICH ARE THE STRONG FOUNDATIONS,OF THE CONSIOYS BUILDING.
THE REDUCTION OF THE RELIGIOUS FEELING,IN A PEOPLE,CAUSES THE MORAL DEPRESSION AND DECLINE.
THE LOVE FOR GOOD AND NOT THE FEAR OF PUNICHMENT LEADS TO THE KEEPING OF GOD'S LAWS.THE HUMMAN BECOMES GODLY,KIND AND RIGHTEOUS.THE COUNTRY THAT IS RESIDED BY SUCH CITIZENS BECOMES HAPPY.
THE CHRISTIANITY,WITH THE INCOMPARABLE TEACHING OF JEASUS BECAME THE CORNICE OF THE RELIGIONS.IT IS THE MOST PERFECT EXPRESSION OF THE RELIGIOUS FEELING,BECAUSE ITS BASIS IS THE FAITH,THE HOPE AND LOVE.IT LEADS THE REAL CHRISTIAN TO THE MORAL COMPLETION AND TO THE PSYCHIK PEACE.

The very Reverent Daniel Sapikas (baptized Panagiotis) comes from, on
his father’s, Efstathios, side, Mytilene, where his grandfather lived
after the Asia Minor catastrophe. He comes from Asia Minor also on his
mother’s, Nike Bobonis, side. That is why he takes great pride in his
ancestry, saying, that "the roots of the Asia Minor civilization where I
come from make me proud because it is the continuation of Hellenism
throughout the centuries".
His father lived in Mytilene until 1947 and then moved to Athens where
he worked in building constructions. He met his wife, with whom they had
four children, among them Daniel. His mother and grandmother, deeply
religious women, contributed to his becoming a priest, because they
instilled in him the feeling of religion and his love for the suffering
fellow man.
The Very Reverent Daniel Sapikas was born in Athens on November 18,
1949. He finished his studies at the Primary School and High School of
Kesariani.
In 1972 he graduated, with honors, from Rizarios Ecclesiastic School of
Athens. During his studies, he was taught Byzantine and European music
by a great teacher and professor, Mr. Dim. Panayiotopoulos - Kouros,
graduating with honors, in this particular subject. He has a diploma in
European and Byzantine music.
In 1972, he was ordained deacon, in the Holy Monastery of Dadi of
Amfiklea in Fthiotida by the Most Reverent Bishop of Fthiotida,
Damaskinos.
In 1974 he was the first deacon of the Most Reverent Bishop of Kesariani
George and organizer and first director of Sunday schools and Youth
Centers of the newly established Metropolis, until the year 1977.
In 1976 he graduated from the Theological School of the University of
Athens.
In 1978 he was ordained priest and promoted to Archimandrite in the
Evagellismos of Theotokou Cathedral in Lamia by the Most Reverent Bishop
of Fokida Damaskinos.
His activities in the ecclesiastical, theological and Medical field are
plenty and remarkable.
The most important ones are the following:
In 1983 he was appointed confessor and Preacher of the Church of St.
Athanasios in Lamia. From 1987 until now he serves as Preacher and
Cleric Superior in the Church of Pamegiston Taxiarchon, in Martino of
Lokrida where in 1990 he was appointed Chairman of the Ecclesiastical
Council of the parish of Martino.
In 1986, while being a third-year student of Medicine, he received an
honorary diploma for his active participation in the 4th European
Congress of International Radiology, in Athens.
In June 1988, while he was a fifth-year Medical student, he was awarded
by the American Physiological Society, the Hellenic Thoracic Society and
the Greek Bronchologic Society for his active participation in this
special world congress, with an honorary member diploma.
The same month of 1988, he was awarded with an honorary diploma for his
active participation in the world congress of Societas Europaea
Physiologiae Clinicae Respiratoriae, in Athens.
In 1990, he graduated from the Medical School of the University of
Athens, with honors.
He continued his post graduate studies by attending annual seminars on
General Medicine and special diseases such as hypertension and diabetes
etc. at the General State hospital of Nikea in Athens and the Laiko
Hospital of Athens, for which he can produce all the necessary documents
and special certificates.
From the year 1991 and onwards he has been elected member of most Greek
Medical Societies and three foreign, a member of F.D.A. of the USA and
takes active part in programs for the prevention of diseases of the
wider population:
1. ELICAR (with the professor of Cardiology of the Univ. of Athens, Mr

Personalities", is published in a limited, 850 copies, collectors’
edition by the Greek National Line, in which his biography with a
photograph is included (pages 381 - 382).
In 1997, as result of his activities, he is included in the
international edition of distinguished scientists, titled "Who’s Who in
the World", published in the USA.
His published scientific works and activities are also very interesting:
1. Theological context
The organization and successful management of nine international
scientific Byzantine Congresses in Sparta, Mystras and Chrysafa in
Laconia, with the participation of internationally renowned
Byzantinologists under the Chairmanship of the professor of Canon Law,
of the Law School of the University of Athens Mr. Sp. Troianos, and the
publication of scientific and theological works such as "Origenes’
teaching on repentance", "the Universality of the Church", "Sophocles’
Antigone" "the meaning of man put to testing in the Old Testament" and
many others, about 120,prove his writing creativity and the range of his
interests.
2. Medical context
Equally important is his contribution to the field of Medicine with
speeches and lectures in Greek and international congresses, the
chairmanship of round tables and seminars as well as with the relevant
articles he has written. Indicatively: "Low birth rate and the Greek
