GMplayer
plays A. Hitchcock's
"North By Northwest". XawTV
is operating my
LifeView FlyVideoII tv tuner. XMMS
resembles
Winamp, Kopete is an
instant messenger. For screen
capturing
reasons,
gmplayer has to work using a device that does not produce the "best"
results. |

Flying

my
Wallpapers

with Tdfsb
3d file
browser. In both screenshots, KDE runs with the Aqua theme. |

"This
is
Unix,
I
Know It!" The appearing 3d
browser is called FSV, a
Unix successor to Silicon Graphics FSN
Project as seen in "Jurassic Park". FSV operates in two modes "Map"
(present) and "Tree". The transitions are animated.

Tdfsb
can also play mpg videos as well as mp3 etc. in its virtual
space! |

Updating
my
entire
Slackware box
to the current version by ftp! Xpkgtool
is a
wxwidgets - Gtk+ depended frontend for the native Slackware native pkgtools terminal program.
It works in two modes: install new or upgrade. |

Motivated by MS
Windows Vista Gadgets I put some
in Kde. Kde has an intergrated Dock Applications Bar to "host"
WindowMaker dockapps. Here we have Matrix, Rolex, Earth time, Moon
phase, Sun
rise-set times, resources reporting tool and a puzzle. The dockapp bar
does not support transparency yet. |
 |
Running
X
on
X
with Xnest. The real X environment runs Kde, the nested one runs
Window Maker, xterm and Window Maker docked apps. |
|
Another set of widgets in Kde 3.5.9 using
Superkaramba.
Features do not stop at what we see here. Weather, News, Mail
notification and even a taskbar can be set on the desktop.
