Biographical Information

My name is George Vavoylogiannis, i was borned on 21/4/65 at Piraeus (Greece of course) and i also leave in Piraeus since then.

My first contact with computers was at the early 80's, and right after i completed army obligations i studied at Control Data Institute and got the Programmer/Analyst certificate.

The first computer i owned was a PC with 8088 microprocessor and (2) 5.25 floppy disks. Having a hard disk these days (1988) was quite HARD (see expensive...).

Know i run a small company of my own, www.imcs.gr, a software house which is specialized in database applications under IBM's AS/400 technology and Client/Server applications for Windows.

Personal Interests

bullet Computing: Started as a hobby, passed from education and resulted as job.
bullet Diving & Spearfishing: This relaxes me from Computing and freeing my mind.
bullet Gymnastics: Everyone needs to be in good physical shape.
bullet Cigars: A bad habit, but who can say no to a Havana puro...
